The Harkom IM-W Packaging Machine With Multihead Weigher is an automatic packaging system designed for high-precision weighing and packaging of granular products. The weighing unit operates through an independent microprocessor and touchscreen, separate from the main packaging-machine controls. The system supports functions such as multi-dumping, automatic product feeding, self-cleaning and recipe recording for different products. The weighing pans and feeding mechanisms can be configured according to product type, production speed and required precision, while product-contact components can be removed for cleaning. The machine uses AISI 304 stainless steel on product-contact surfaces, an easy-change collar set, adjustable package-length sensing, printer-error monitoring, AC-motor film feeding and pneumatic horizontal jaw sealing/cutting. The IM-W supports pillow and square-bottom packages and is suited to products including nuts, pulses, rice, pasta, candies, coffee beans, seeds, spices and other granular products.
